Where Have We Gone Wrong?
When over 200 Years of Slavery Stripped Us of Our Human Dignity,
And over 150 Years of Colonization Came Tantalizing Us with a Semblance of Relief.

Where Have We Gone Wrong?
When Thirty Years of Self Rule Starved Us of Our Daily Bread,
An Eleven Years of Senseless War Added Salt into Injury,
And Fear, Horror and Uncertainty Illuminated the Entire Land.

 Where Have We Gone Wrong?

Merely Twelve Years of Seeming Relief,
Ebola Has Crept In Once Again, 
Eroding our Feeling of Unsettled Relief,
Ushering Once Again, Fear, Horror and Uncertainty.

Where Have We Gone Wrong?
With No Slavery,
With No War,
With No Ebola,
At Least We Can Settle With Our Slow Pace,
And Make Do with Carbohydrates.
No Matter the Number of Black Teeth in Our Mouths, We Can Still Smile!!!

And Tell the Almighty the Rest.

But Where? But Where?
